Include your order number, the product concerned and a description of your request.

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, a clear statement that you wish to cancel is sufficient. You do not need to use a particular form or obtain discretionary approval to exercise that right.

United States Orders

Unless a product listing expressly provides an additional return right, HIBYK does not offer discretionary returns solely because you changed your mind.

This does not limit any applicable state-law return right, written warranty, remedy for defective or misdescribed goods, or other mandatory consumer protection.

If a product arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or materially different from its description, contact us. We will assess the issue and provide the repair, replacement, refund or other remedy required by applicable law and any applicable written warranty.

EU Orders: 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

For ordinary online purchases of goods, EU consumers may withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods.

The period begins when you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods. Where goods in a single order are delivered separately, the applicable period is calculated under the relevant legal rules.

Notify us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.

After notifying us, return the goods without undue delay and within a further 14 days.

Contact us for the appropriate return destination and safe shipping arrangements. Our administrative process will not be used to prevent a timely exercise of your legal withdrawal right.

Product Condition

You may inspect goods as reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Where permitted by law, we may deduct an amount reflecting diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for that inspection.

Opening packaging alone does not automatically remove your withdrawal right.

Please return accessories and protective packaging where reasonably practicable. Missing original packaging does not automatically remove statutory rights.

Return Shipping Costs

For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for direct return shipping costs only where this responsibility has been lawfully disclosed before purchase.

For vehicles and other goods that cannot normally be returned by post, an appropriate estimate of return costs must be disclosed before the contract is concluded.

Where a legally required return-cost disclosure was not provided, we will bear the costs where required by law.

For valid faulty, damaged or incorrect-product claims, we will bear necessary return or collection costs where required by applicable law.

We do not retroactively deduct the original free standard shipping as an outbound shipping charge. No fixed restocking fee applies to a statutory EU withdrawal.

Refunds for EU Withdrawal

We will reimburse the amounts legally due within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice.

Where permitted by law, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds include standard outbound delivery charges if you paid them. Additional costs for a voluntarily selected premium delivery service need not be reimbursed beyond the standard delivery amount.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee.

Any lawful deduction for diminished value will be explained.

Faulty Goods and Legal Guarantees

EU consumers retain the applicable legal guarantee for non-conforming goods, generally at least two years for new goods. Stronger or longer rights under applicable national law remain unaffected.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, remedies may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract.

U.S. consumers retain applicable federal and state warranty and consumer-protection rights.

A manufacturer’s commercial warranty is additional to applicable statutory rights. Its expiry does not automatically end those rights.

Safe Returns

Do not send a vehicle or lithium battery to our warehouse, administrative location or a supplier without checking the correct destination and shipping requirements.

Damaged batteries may require specialist handling and must not be sent through an ordinary parcel service without appropriate instructions.

These safety arrangements do not remove any legal right to return goods or obtain a remedy.
